The fundamentals

The remedial abc – method of De Haan & Merlivat is based on exercises which stimulate automatic reading and writing. Our technique restores the language structure and makes it possible to relearn to read correctly

The root of our work is the alphabet, supported by two books allowing a progressive development of the method. We progress by making small steps. Parent and child never work more than 15 minutes a day. This might seem a short time, but it is of great intensity: and the results are there.

N.B. : To be effective, it is essential that the abc - method De Haan & Merlivat is the only method in use. Any other therapeutic assistance applied in parallel would seriously disrupt its principles and therefore its effectiveness.
